The George Karpati Symposium on Neuromuscular Disease: Innovation and Application

This international scientific symposium will honor the memory of the noted neurologist and physician-scientist George Karpati, who died suddenly in February 2009 in Montreal. The program includes one full day of scientific presentations and discussion followed by an evening dinner at which participants can share personal and professional memories of George and his many contributions to the field. The symposium follows the “New Directions in Biology and Disease of Skeletal Muscle” conference to be held in Ottawa May 5-8 2010, and is complementary in character with a primary focus on clinical connections.
